Kazim Karabekir Pasha was commemorated on the 73rd anniversary of his deathA commemoration ceremony was held in Kazımkarabekir district of Karaman for the 73rd anniversary of the death of Kazım Karabekir, who was the Eastern Front Commander in the War of Independence.
At the ceremony in Kazımkarabekir Park, Karaman Governor Mehmet Alpaslan Işık, Karaman Mayor Savaş Kalaycı, Kazımkarabekir Mayor Recep Boyacıoğlu and Kazım Karabekir Pasha's family presented a wreath to the monument.
The memorial program ended after a minute of silence and the Turkish National Anthem.
Provincial Police Chief Ayhan Taş, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel İsmail Şahin, Kazımkarabekir District Governor Muhammed Enes Çıkrık, some department managers and citizens also attended the program.
