Prof. Dr. Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Alphan Küpesiz stated that hemophilia, which does not clot normally and takes longer to bleed after injury, is genetic and hereditary.
Noting that there is easy bleeding due to the deficiency of a protein related to blood clotting, Küpesiz stated that treatment can be performed by giving the missing protein externally to the body, and even with the advancement of medicine, important steps have been taken in treatment with subcutaneous and gene applications.

Alphan Küpesiz noted that they gave information to families about how to live with this disease and when to consult a doctor.
