Tax decision for businesses closed due to the pandemic
Force majeure decision has been taken for workplaces that have been closed within the scope of pandemic measures. Tax payments of businesses closed under force majeure have been postponed. Businesses will begin to file tax returns 26 days after force majeure is lifted.
In the General Communiqué of the Tax Procedure Law published in the Official Gazette, there is an important decision regarding workplaces that suspended or stopped their activities during the pandemic period.
Within the scope of the measures taken by the Ministry of Interior, force majeure has been declared in the sectors where the activities are temporarily suspended - to stop their activities completely. Businesses will start to file tax returns 26 days after force majeure is lifted.
