Silkworm breeding investments to be supported in Karaman The deadline for applying for grant support for beekeeping, sericulture, goose and turkey breeding has been announced as January 22.

Investors who want to benefit from the grants provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for beekeeping, sericulture and goose and turkey breeding must apply by January 22.

Investment topics to be supported
The grant rate according to investment subjects is 50 percent in beekeeping for the purchase of machinery, tools-equipment and beekeepers, 100 percent in sericulture for the construction of feeding house, machinery, tools, equipment and mulberry garden facility, new construction construction, machinery, tools will be applied as 75 percent in goose and turkey farming for equipment purchase.
Applications for grant support can be made until January 22, 2021. The said period can be extended if deemed necessary. Applications will be accepted by the Provincial Project Execution Unit (IPYB), and by the district directorate in districts.
Investors whose applications are eligible will be scored and ranked within 5 working days according to the determined criteria, and the projects found suitable for the investment will be approved.
An official notification will be made to the approved investors and the process will be initiated to complete the investment on whatever investment subject has been applied.
