Increases risk of getting coronavirus by 250 percent Russian scientist Aleksandr Kalinkin explained the factor that increases the risk of contracting coronavirus by 250 percent.
The coronavirus (Covid-19), which first appeared in the last days of 2019, continues to be the number one agenda of our planet.
Many scientific studies have been conducted on the virus that infects millions of people around the world. However, we are still getting new information about the virus.
According to Russian scientist Aleksandr Kalinkin, head of the Moscow State University Sleep Medicine Center, sleep deprivation increases the risk of getting coronavirus.
WE NEED 7 TO 9 HOURS OF SLEEP
According to the news in Sputnik, lack of sleep increases the risk of getting viral infections, including Covid-19, by 250 percent.
Underlining that lack of sleep has a devastating effect on the immune system, Kalinkin said, "A person who sleeps less than five hours has a greater than 250 percent chance of getting any viral infection compared to those who sleep more than seven hours."
According to Kalinkin, for a strong immune system, we need to sleep at the same time every day, wake up and sleep 7 to 9 hours.
