Siirt explorer managed to fly his dream 'flying car'
Burhan Canpolat, 46, living in Siirt, collected parts from different places to build his childhood dream of flying car. Canpolat, who finally got his flying car, was able to fly his car on his first attempt.
Burhan Canpolat, 46, from Siirt, dreamed of making flying cars from an early age. After a while, Canpolat rolled up his sleeves and started to make his flying car with the parts he collected from around. Canpolat, who made a flying car with the parts he collected in about 1 year, created an environment for experimenting. Completing his flying car by working 3 days a week, Canpolat realized his childhood dream by flying his car.
Named her flying car Ayyıldız
Canpolat, who named the car Ayyıldız, said that it worked 3 days a week and completed it in a year. Stating that he was happy to fly his dream car, Canpolat said, "Last year, we had a flying car project. We set off from washing machine engines. And finally we completed our flying car. Of course, we brought the current engines from abroad. I made the cabin completely myself. Have resources, software and assembly. All the workmanship and drawings belong to me. Our flying car is for one person. I was going to do it for two or four people. I did it for now because I did not have financial means. I expect support from our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the authorities to develop my project.
