To be a Muslim or to remain a Muslim?
I have been thinking about these two concepts frequently recently. Its importance is two concepts, one of which is nothing less than the other.
This group of words that complement each other, without one and the other cannot be, actually explains our present state and our situation where we think we are determined and remain indecisive.
To be a Muslim or to remain a Muslim? It is not possible to remain a Muslim without becoming a Muslim. One has come up to this day with a suspicion that one can stay / remain a Muslim, perhaps contented with being a Muslim during the years / centuries of history.
This suspicion; Today, the state of Muslims around the world is an explanation for their pure melal. Why is the western world more attractive and appealing to our world? Is it just economic prosperity? Freedom? Is it right and justice? Is it moral? Wonder what?
Wherever in the world oppression, war, injustice etc. If there is, our people in that region endure so much torture to go to the west, to America and Canada. Every day, dozens of them die by drowning in the seas.
Yet that; Glory and honor were those of Allah, His Messenger and believers. Then, why do we go to the geographies of our ancient enemies, risking death for shelter and settlement? What is happening to us?
Right here, the concepts of being a Muslim and staying Muslim come back to my mind and I am starting to think.
Muslims, who gave order to the world and overthrew the two superpowers of the period (Persia and Rome) in a period of 30-40 years and established a strong state, today seek help and justice from the oppressors they turned to yesterday.
I mean; Being a Muslim is not enough to remain a Muslim. While being a Muslim is a matter of creed, staying a Muslim appears to be a matter of deeds together with creed. We are doing all kinds of evils that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) struggled with as if they were normal things in life today.
Religion; It is the body of divine orders sent to organize people's lives. The prophets are the best examples and examples of this.
Allah states in many places in the Quran that the glory and honor I mentioned above belong to Allah, His Messenger and the believers. (Münafikun 8, Fatır 10, Nisa 139).
The Prophet (pbuh) never expected dignity and honor from the unbelievers and polytheists, on the contrary, while they regarded themselves superior in different ways, he always pointed to Allah and emphasized that superiority and dignity were with Allah.
Allah says, Satan is your obvious enemy at the same time, he calls you into fire. Have we merged the enemy and the friend today? Again, he says, do not take unbelievers for friends. He says that for Muslims, they command good and avoid evil. He explains the goodness in verse 177 of Surat al-Baqara.
Again, it mentions that we should avoid conjecture. They deal with their work / problems through consultation. It talks about the morality to be possessed ...
The command of Allah Almighty for people who are Muslim with the word Tawhid to remain Muslim
