Waterfowl count complete
Water bird counting studies conducted in Akgöl Reeds in Ambar Village of Ayrancı District of Karaman and in some lakes within Konya provincial borders have ended.
The Nature Protection and National Parks in the statement made by the 8 Regional Offices, Konya, including Turkey's largest fresh water lake in the Lake Beyşehir also found that some lakes in midwinter waterfowl 2021 (KOSKS) were reportedly the census operation.
In the statement, it was stated that the work carried out in this context with the participation of the personnel of the 8th Region of Nature Conservation and National Parks and the Konya Branch Directorate has ended and the bird species were counted and recorded.
In the statement, counts were carried out in Beyşehir Lake, Ilgın Çavuşcugöl, Kozanlı Gökgöl and Akgöl, and in the observations, it was noted that Sakar Meke, Hungarian duck, Çamurcun, Yeşilbaş, Cormorant, Küçük Grebe and Bahri species were the most observed species.
