Educational Opportunity for Students from KMU and İŞKUR
Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University (KMÜ) Rectorate and Karaman Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency (İŞKUR) signed the "Cooperation Protocol on the Provision of İŞKUR Campus Services".
At the signing ceremony, KMU Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akgül and İŞKUR Karaman Deputy Director Şevket Sarıkaya, as well as Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ercan Oktay and Prof. Dr. Birol Üner, KMÜ Career Planning Center Manager Assoc. Dr. Şerife Pekk Küçükşen and İŞKUR Branch Manager Metin Akgül were also present.
The protocol stipulates that KMU Career Planning Center and İŞKUR will provide training to students through face-to-face or distance education methods at İŞKUR Campuses to be established within KMU.
Within the scope of education, students; They will be informed about the labor market, institutional activities, job search skills, interview / interview techniques with the employer, preparing a CV. The protocol also aims for students to benefit from the "On-the-Job Training Program", which aims to increase their professional experience and help improve their theoretical knowledge by practicing.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Rector Akgül said, "As Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, I find this protocol, which will positively affect the careers of our students together with İŞKUR, and I wish the protocol to be beneficial." said.
