"Do not rush" warning for vehicle buyers President of the Consumers Union, Mahmut Şahin, advised citizens who want to buy new or second-hand vehicles not to rush.
In his statement to the AA correspondent, Şahin advised citizens who wanted to buy a vehicle to be a little more patient and not to insist on buying a vehicle during this period.
Stating that the market should be expected to settle, Şahin stated that insistence on this issue will cause inflation to increase and damage the country's economy.
Noting that when the demand increases, the prices rise is the general rule of the market and said:
"As the demand increases, the price of that product increases and becomes valued. What are we doing here? We are loaded into a product that says 'We will buy zero vehicles'. What happens? When the demand increases, the seller also increases the price of it. In fact, he sells the product he will sell for 300 liras for 350 liras. Let me make a little profit of 50 liras. ”He finds a formula, finds a method. It does not attract attention.
"Let's be patient"
Suggesting those who will buy a zero-kilometer vehicle not to hurry, Şahin continued his words as follows:
"These demands also raised second-hand vehicles in the market. If we retreat a little, there are many examples of this application in the world. We see that when people react to gasoline prices and meat prices, the prices drop. If not so urgent, please wait a little. 6 months later Buy it, buy it after 8 months, but do not raise the market. These demands of ours whet the appetite of those sellers and see how much damage we do to the country's economy with that appetite. Let's be patient. Let's buy when the market returns to its normal. We are paying too much and risking the future of the country by saying, 'I will buy the car.'
