Turkish Standards Institute has been authorized by the Inspection Regulation of Measuring Systems for Liquids other than Water and Some Measuring and Weighing Instruments published in the Official Gazette dated 11/10/2019 and numbered 30915, and the Turkish Standards Institute has been authorized as of 01/01/2020. It should be made to the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) instead of the Karaman Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology.

In accordance with Article 15 of the Measurements and Adjustment Law No. 3516;
An administrative fine from 669,00 TL to 13375,00 TL is imposed for each measuring device whose stamp is broken, damaged and whose stamp expired. In addition, these measuring instruments are confiscated and it is decided to transfer the ownership to the public.
Those who use measuring instruments whose settings are not correct will be fined from 267.00 TL to 2675.00 TL.
Anyone who sells, offers for sale or uses non-stamped measuring and measuring instruments in commercial relations is sentenced to imprisonment up to one year.
