The weekend curfews applied within the scope of coronavirus measures are in its 7th week.

The 56-hour restriction will cover all Saturday and Sunday.

The curfew will start at 21:00 today and will last until 05:00 on Monday, January 18th.

ADDITIONAL CIRCULAR IS PUBLISHED, EXCEPTIONS EXTENDED

The Ministry of Interior sent an additional circular to 81 provincial governorships regarding the persons who will be included in the curfew restrictions.

According to the circular; Personnel working at vehicle inspection stations and vehicle owners who have vehicle inspection appointments will be exempted during the period and days in which the curfew is applied on the weekend

Commission officers, master trainers and trainees who take part in mandatory steering training exams and other theoretical and practical exams will be exempted from the curfew at the end of the week

Personnel involved in distance education video shooting, editing and editing activities to be broadcast on the Ministry of National Education EBA LİSE TV MTAL and EBA platform were included in the scope of exceptions in curfews

In the circular sent by the Ministry of Interior to 81 Provincial Governors, the Ministry of Health and Coronavirus Science in order to manage the risk of the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic in terms of public health and public order, to ensure social isolation, to protect the physical distance and to control the spread rate of the disease. It was stated that many measures were taken and implemented in line with the recommendations of the Board and the instructions of the President.

In the Circular, it was stated that as a result of the evaluations made with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of National Education, an addition was made to the "List of Exempted Places and Persons for the Duration and Days with Curfew Restriction".

In this context, vehicle inspection stations and personnel working there and vehicle owners who had vehicle inspection appointments were exempted from the curfew on the weekend.

The commission officers who take part in the driving training exams and other theoretical and practical exams, which are mandatory to be organized on weekends for the trainees attending motor vehicle driving courses, aviation and maritime courses, special transportation services vocational training and development courses and construction machinery driving training courses, Master trainers and trainees who will take these exams
