34 Million TL Support from MEVKA for Vocational Education and Resource Efficiency
Under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Mevlana Development Agency, which continues its activities in the TR 52 Konya-Karaman Region, has a budget of 34 million TL in 2020 under the headings of Improving Resource Efficiency and Developing Vocational and Technical Education for the Development of Qualified Human Resources in the Manufacturing Industry. and the projects that are entitled to receive support in the financial support programs announced.
Since the day it was founded, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the region, reducing inter-regional development disparities, introducing the region to domestic and foreign investors, we have provided support of 61,689,153.16 TL to 237 projects in Karaman with the co-financing of the beneficiaries. Mevlana Development Agency, which created a total investment volume of 380 million TL with the co-financing of the beneficiaries by providing 110 million TL in total and 213.568.448,16 TL to 1008 projects in Konya, according to these results, providing 275 million TL support to 1245 projects in the region It has enabled the million TL investment.
Delivering detailed information about the projects that are entitled to support, MEVKA Secretary General İhsan Bostancı said, “As the Agency, we have announced the evaluation processes of our Financial Support Programs under the titles Improving Resource Efficiency and Improving Vocational and Technical Education for Raising Qualified Human Resources in Manufacturing Industry we have completed. 37 projects, 28 from Konya and 9 from Karaman, submitted to our agency in the Financial Support Program for the Development of Vocational and Technical Education for the Development of Qualified Human Resources in the Manufacturing Industry by the appropriate project owners in our region, and 15 projects from Konya submitted to our agency in the Resource Efficiency Development Program 21 projects, 6 of which are from Karaman, and a total of 58 projects in our region as of both programs have been awarded support. 34 Million TL support has been provided by our agency for the projects to be implemented within the scope of both programs, thus 59 Million TL in total will be mobilized in the region together with the co-financing of the applicants.

Expressing that they have been working on the subject of vocational education for a long time, Bostancı said, “As an institution, we attach great importance to the future goals of the region and our country in vocational education, which we have declared in order to raise the qualified workforce needed in the manufacturing industry in the region. Within the scope of our Financial Support Program for the Development of Vocational and Technical Education for the Development of Resources, 37 projects, 28 of them from Konya and 9 from Karaman, all of which are valuable in terms of goals and objectives, will be implemented.
