If the rate rises to 4.68 percent, the lowest civil servant salary will reach 3 thousand 893 and the salary of retired civil servants will reach 2 thousand 946 liras.
2021 RETIRED AND OFFICER PAYMENT
While there is a 3 percent increase for civil servants and retired civil servants within the scope of the decision of the arbitration committee in January, this rate may increase with the difference in inflation. If inflation in the second half of 2020 exceeds 4 percent, the excess will be added to the raise rate.
The Central Bank's inflation forecast of 12.1 percent suggests that inflation in the second half of 2020 could reach 6 percent. According to this forecast, the January hike could increase to 5 percent with a 2 percent inflation difference.
HOW WILL THE LOWEST WAGE?
Civil servants and retired civil servants increased by 4 percent for the second 6 months of 2020 as required by the collective agreement, and it was also decided to give a 3 percent increase in the first 6 months of 2021 and 3 percent in the second 6 months of 2021. If the estimate in the NEP is successful, the salaries and pensions of civil servants and retired civil servants will be increased by 3 percent of the normal contract before January 1st.
The lowest salary if the January increase is 3 percent; It will increase from 3,719 lira to 3,830 lira for civil servants and from 2,814 to 2,898 lira for retired civil servants.
If the rate rises to 5 percent, the lowest civil servant salary will reach 3,905 and the salary of retired civil servants 2,955 lira.
HOW MUCH FAMILY HELP WILL INCREASE?
Family aid for civil servants will also increase in January. With a 5 percent raise, spouse assistance will increase from 351.09 lira to 368.64 lira, child allowance from 77.23 lira to 81.09 lira for 0-6 years old, from 38.62 lira to 40.55 lira for over 6 years old. While the civil servant who has 2 children under the age of 6 and whose wife is not working receives 505.55 lira per month, this amount will reach 530.82 lira.
