Within the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) epidemic, the first dose of CoronaVac vaccine started to be given to healthcare professionals in Karaman.
Karaman Health Director Adnan Kurşun, some health managers and employees were vaccinated at the Karaman Training and Research Hospital.
Kurşun told reporters that the pandemic process affected the whole world as well as the country.
Expressing that they were fighting together with these effects, Kurşun said the following:
"We have included about 4 thousand 100 healthcare workers in our province under the scope of primary level vaccination. This will continue of course. Our citizens staying in prisons and rest homes will also be vaccinated. Later, this circle will be expanded. Our citizens who are considered to be under risk such as soldiers, police and gendarmerie will also be included in the scope of vaccination. "

Karaman Training and Research Hospital Chief Physician Ahmet Yılmaz, on the other hand, stated that the vaccination activities for healthcare workers started from the morning hours and that the vaccination rooms would serve in two shifts, 09.00-17.00 and 17.00-00.00.
