Stating that the impediment to walking limits their power in revealing their abilities in individuals, President Ünüvar said, "The walking disabled is a situation that restricts the life activities of our fellow countrymen and creates a setback in meeting their needs. Compared to the past, technology has made significant progress in improving the lives of our disabled brothers and sisters. Those who could access this technology took their place in social life, while those who could not continued to live in their homes. As a provincial organization, we started a project to integrate our disabled brothers and sisters who had to spend most of this time at home.
We identified our siblings with walking disabilities in 5 districts of our city. As a matter of fact, we deliver these vehicles, which we brought to our city with the contributions of The Hague Organization of the Dutch Turkish Federation, to our district presidents to be delivered to those in need. I hope these vehicles will provide an important opportunity to meet the personal needs of our fellow countrymen, and I wish them all the best. On behalf of our fellow countrymen, I would like to express my gratitude to our Chief Advisor Ali Güler for their support in the formation process of the project, to the President of the Dutch Turkish Federation Murat Gedik, the President of the Hague Organization, Tahsin Çetinkaya, and to our Ayrancı Mayor Yüksel Büyükkarcı for bringing the vehicles to our province and distribution organization. '' said.
Saying that they fulfill an important task, President Büyükkarcı said in his speech; "We aimed to reduce the barriers of our disabled citizens and enable them to participate more in social life in all of our projects as a municipality. As a matter of fact, we have built sidewalks where wheelchairs can be easily walked, with walking strips and ramps for our visually impaired citizens. We have completed the hot asphalt coating process of our avenues and streets. While doing these, we eliminated the inconsistencies in slopes and heights and paved the way for these vehicles with small wheels to travel comfortably. 86 disabled vehicles in total
