“Fish / Fish oil: Fish and fish oils are very rich in omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. The most important feature of omega 3 fatty acids is their positive effect on mental function health. It has been reported in studies that it is effective not only in mental functions, but also in heart diseases, eye health and protection against cancer. In case of deficiency, attention should be paid to adequate intake of omega 3 fatty acids with symptoms such as forgetfulness, depression and sleep problems and care should be taken to consume fish rich in these fatty acids 2-3 times a week.

Walnut: Walnuts are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, just like fish. In this way, its effect on forgetfulness and other mental functions and memory strengthening has been proven. We can meet our needs by consuming 2-3 pieces of walnuts, which are also rich in vitamin E.

Egg: Egg, which is the best quality protein source after breast milk, contains choline, a kind of B vitamin. Because choline is effective in the functioning of the nervous and muscular system and the interaction between cells, it is important for brain development and the regular functioning of body functions.

Yogurt: Yogurt is one of the important foods against forgetfulness thanks to the tyrosine it contains. It is necessary for our mental health to keep yogurt, which we can consume as ayran or tzatziki, from our tables.

Spinach: Regular consumption of spinach rich in vitamins A, C, E and K and minerals iron, calcium and magnesium is very effective for brain and mental health. It provides benefits against cognitive and behavioral problems. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the consumption of spinach in the season due to its effects on lowering blood pressure, its benefits on the stomach and digestive system and strengthening the immune system.

Red meat: Vitamin B12 deficiency is one of the most important causes of forgetfulness. Consumption of foods rich in this vitamin is very important in the treatment of forgetfulness caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Since vitamin B12 is found in high amounts in animal sources, care should be taken to consume animal sources such as red meat, liver and milk.

Turmeric: It is one of the foods that has grown in popularity recently. Thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric, which is effective against many diseases, creates new cells in the brain.
