Reprimand by Kağnıcı for Sharing Insulting Atatürk
CHP Karaman Provincial Chair Mustafa Cem Kağnıcı made a statement about the insult of a person on Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on his social media account.
"We learned that a self-aware person who works as a security guard at the Karaman Training and Research Hospital shared insulting our country's great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on his social media account, and that such a post in our city, Atatürk's homeland upset.
If you live in this country founded by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and receive a salary from the state established by him, such a sharing is unacceptable. We condemn any kind of disrespect for any purpose whatsoever against a world leader whom the whole world is respectfully bowing to. Nobody is holding you as a citizen of this country by force, you do not have to live in this country founded by our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, you can live in any other country that Atatürk did not establish.
Nobody can insult anyone. You may not like it, but you have to respect it. We have no doubt that all relevant institutions, especially our Governorship of Karaman, will take the necessary actions about this person. As the Republican People's Party, the party founded by Atatürk, we are taking the necessary steps to initiate legal proceedings against the person.
The disrespect for our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who is the hope and savior of a nation, is the pioneer in liberating our heavenly land from the occupation forces, who gave us great struggles for our freedom to live, and who gave us our religious freedom. It is clear to whom Atatürk, the eternal leader of the Turkish nation, looked like, but it is obvious that he does not resemble the Turkish nation. The Turkish nation is moral, respectful of its ancestors, remember its ancestors with mercy, and is devoted to its history. As the Republican People's Party Karaman organizations, we will follow the ugly event. "
