"Mutated virus" decisions from the Governorship of Karaman!
Karaman Provincial General Sanitation Board announced the new decisions taken on the mutated virus (positive cases infected with variant strain) seen in 2 people in Karaman.
Karaman Provincial Sanitation Board convened in the Governorship meeting hall under the presidency of Governor Mehmet Alpaslan IŞIK with the participation of the members and announced "Decision No. 03".
COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 Infection) contact monitoring, epidemic management, home patient monitoring and filming guideline was updated on 08.02.2021 with the studies of the scientific advisory board.
The decisions announced by the Governorship of Karaman are as follows:
Regarding the decisions taken regarding the variant strains in the mentioned guide; “Isolation of positive cases infected with variant strain should be continued for 10 days at the earliest, and then the isolation should be terminated after negative results are seen with the PCR test.
After 10 days, it is recommended to continue the control test at 48-hour intervals. The quarantine period of certain case contacts infected with the variant strain is at least 10 days and the quarantine must be terminated by showing PCR negativity as a result of this period ”and the following decisions are deemed appropriate by the Provincial General Hygiene Board.
1- The quarantine of positive cases infected with the variant strain detected within the boundaries of our province and the contacts belonging to these cases are not terminated without detecting a negative result in the COVID-19 PCR samples taken by the provincial Directorate of Health radiation teams,
2- Not to leave their residence address / KYK dormitories where they were subjected to isolation without notification by the Provincial Health Directorate that their quarantine period has expired,
3- The persons who terminate the monitoring / isolation / quarantine without notification by the Provincial Health Directorate, isolation / quarantine in the place determined by the authorities (hospital, dormitory, etc.)
4- All grade levels of public and private primary schools, middle schools and imam hatip secondary schools in villages and sparsely populated settlements, the kindergartens within these schools and the schools within the scope of transportation should not provide face-to-face education until a second decision,
5- In accordance with the relevant articles of the General Hygiene Law for those who do not comply with the decisions taken, the necessary legal proceedings are initiated within the scope of Article 195 of the Turkish Penal Code,
