Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk announced the roadmap regarding the transition to face-to-face education, which was announced by President Erdoğan after the Cabinet.
Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk made a press release regarding the details of the transition to face-to-face education in the second term of the 2020-2021 academic year.

VILLAGE SCHOOLS OPEN FACE-TO-FACE AND FULL-TIME
As we mentioned in our calendar before, we start the second semester on Monday, February 15th. Since it is seen that there is no epidemic in our villages, we open village schools face to face and full time at all levels so that the education of our children is not further interrupted due to the epidemic. On February 15, we decided to open all independent kindergartens full time.
ON MARCH 1, PRIMARY SCHOOLS OPEN AT ALL CLASS LEVEL
On Monday, March 1, we decided to open our primary schools with all grade levels. Our primary school students will continue their education in diluted form 2 days a week.
PRIVATE EDUCATION SCHOOLS ALSO START EDUCATION
Our special education schools and classes will start providing education for students with special needs.
8. AND 12TH GRADE ALSO OPEN ITS DOORS
On March 1, our schools will open their doors for our 8th and 12th grade students who are in the exam period. It is very important that they prepare for exams efficiently and work one-on-one with their teachers.
For this reason, our students will start their education full-time on March 1 and will take their places in classes within the framework of the conditions stipulated by the Scientific Committee.
STUDENTS PERMIT COUNTERS ON STREET RESTRICTIONS
Our students will be considered on leave on days and hours with curfew.
IT WILL BE BOUND BY PARENTS
The participation of our students in face-to-face education at our schools will be at the discretion of our parents. In this case, our children will continue distance education.
VACCINE PLANNING FOR TEACHERS BEGINNING FACE-TO-FACE EDUCATION
Vaccination planning is made in February for our teachers who started face-to-face education.
In the upcoming period, it may be decided to start face-to-face education at different class levels on a provincial basis.
