While the banking index lost its value by 0.41 percent in the first half, the holding index gained 1.18 percent. Among the industry indices, mining was the highest earning with 5.01 percent, and the metal main industry and securities investment partnership fell the most with 0.42 percent.
The BIST 100 index saw an all-time high of 1,327.40 points, led by transportation and mining shares in the first half of the day.
Analysts said the index BIST100 of the Central Bank of Turkey (CBT) reported that after yesterday's interest rate decisions continued their positive trend.
