In-Class Assessment and Evaluation Trainings were given to Vocational High School Teachers in Karaman.
Within the scope of the "1000 Schools in Vocational Education Project" initiated by the Ministry of National Education in order to reduce the differences between schools and strengthen vocational education, "In-Class Assessment and Evaluation Trainings" were given to teachers working in vocational high schools by the Karaman Measurement and Evaluation Center.
Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Çalışkan made the opening speech of the program, in which 211 administrators and teachers from 6 schools participated. Starting his speech by greeting the participants, Provincial Director Mehmet Çalışkan emphasized that different experiences were experienced in the field of education with the epidemic period. Stating that Karaman adapted quickly to the distance education process and carried out this process successfully, Çalışkan stated that vocational high schools made meaningful contributions in terms of production in the epidemic process, which is accepted as the new normal, and that the ministry has an important place in the future planning. Çalışkan said, “I can say that our teachers have not experienced any problems related to distance education that came into their lives with the epidemic process. I hope this process will end as soon as possible and we will start face-to-face education with our students ”.
Pointing out that the importance of vocational high schools has increased during the epidemic process, Mehmet Çalışkan stated that the Ministry of National Education is engaged in a feverish study on this issue. Çalışkan said, “It has been revealed once again how important vocational training is during the epidemic process. It is valuable for us to discover the knowledge, skills and abilities of our children by our administrators and teachers. In this context, technology design workshops have an important place. We want these workshops to be established in all our schools. Our students who are trained in these workshops will not only realize their talents, but also help them to contribute to production by making the necessary guidance thanks to our teachers. Provincial Director Çalışkan said that our Ministry has implemented the 1000 Schools in Vocational Education Project in order to reduce the differences between schools and strengthen vocational education and said, “In this project, our teachers working in vocational high schools have important responsibilities.
