Karaman OSB Wastewater Treatment Plant Project Approved
Concrete outputs have started to be produced in the highly anticipated project in Karaman and the Project of Karaman OSB Wastewater Treatment Plant has been approved.
The wastewater generated in Karaman OIZ was collected by the sewer infrastructure and delivered to the Karaman Municipality Wastewater Treatment Plant within the framework of the protocol signed with the Karaman Municipality. The OSB Wastewater Treatment Plant project, prepared in 2018, was approved today by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology.

In the statement made by Karaman OSB President Kemal Boynukal on the subject; The industrial infrastructure of our city is developing, we did not have a system to treat industrial wastes in Karaman. Now the construction phase of our project can be started. Our project has been approved. Its tender will be held in 2021. Our region, which has a more functional structure for those who will invest in Karaman, was also an important project in order to leave a cleaner environment to new generations. I would like to thank the former Mayor of Karaman Ertuğrul Çalışkan and our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mustafa Varan, who made serious efforts in the realization of this project. ”
VARANK: 400 PERCENT INCREASE IN OSB BUDGET
Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank gave important information on industry, production, R&D, incentives and investments in his speech at the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission. In 2021; The budget we will use for OIZs and industrial sites will increase by 400 percent and the R&D budget of TÜBİTAK will increase by 100 percent. This increase in our budget; "We will evaluate productivity in productive projects that focus on productivity, create value, spread the value it creates in a balanced way throughout the country, and protect the nature."
