Yunus Emre Year Events were Discussed in Karaman Governorship

UNESCO, Hz. Due to the fact that Yunus Emre included the 700th anniversary of his death among the 2021 Commemoration and Celebration Programs, Hz. The meeting, where the activities planned to raise the national and international awareness that Yunus Emre is from Karaman were discussed, was held at the Governorship under the chairmanship of Governor Mehmet Alpaslan Işık.

Making the opening speech of the meeting, Governor Işık said, "Emphasizing that Yunus Emre is from Karaman, Deputy Governor Oğuz Şenlik and Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Dr. Faculty Member Ahmet Hakan Yılmaz are working on serious projects. What can we do for Karaman, how can we be effective. We are working on announcing the name of our Karaman in other fields, ”he said.

Later in the meeting, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Dr. Faculty Member Ahmet Hakan Yılmaz made an informative presentation to the participants about the project they drafted for the Yunus Emre Year activities they conducted with Deputy Governor Oğuz Şenlik. After the presentation, the participants took the floor and expressed their opinions about the projects.
