The World Bank, for green infrastructure projects and basic infrastructure to support OSB in Turkey has announced that $ 300 million project began. 10 million dollars of the project will be used for investments in education centers.

The 300 million dollar project to be implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology will consist of two parts as "basic infrastructure support" and "green infrastructure support".
Within the scope of basic infrastructure support; Investments such as new roads, water and natural gas pipelines, power lines and logistics facilities will be supported.
Within the scope of green infrastructure, support will be provided for investments in renewable energy assets such as improved energy and water efficiency facilities, advanced wastewater treatment facilities, energy efficient buildings, LED street lighting, solar, wind and biomass.
World Bank Country Director for Turkey Auguste Kouame, after Covidien companies operating in support of the OSB period would allow them to deepen their protection or their participation in global value chains, he said.
Pointing out that the pandemic process is of great importance in laying the foundation for a sustainable 'green' recovery process, Kouame emphasized that the innovation and competitiveness levels of OIZs will also be increased.
